For Prospective Students

Graduate studies is the focal point of most of the educational activities in our campus and is aligned with the regulations of the National Medical Commission of India and The TN Dr MGR Medical University. Added to these, are the many faculty driven initiatives in education and research, that makes unique learning experience for our students. The opportunities to interview and examine patients is one important academic avenue which starts with the early clinical exposure during the fresher year and ramps up as the years progress. Our continued emphasis on clinical knowledge and skills is hugely supplemented by the training in communication skills, ethics in medical practice and understanding of community health needs, which is reflected in our class schedules. Beyond the lectures, tutorials, demonstrations, lab work, dissections, OPD classes, bed side demonstrations and interviews, library based self directed learning is a significant component. When our graduates walk into life, to perform as a physician of first contact our alumni have been proudly recognized for being "a doctor whom patients believe and depend on". As always, the best of school graders reach us every year, and that is what you will do through your stay in the campus. We expect our students to complete the requisite hours of training & classes before they reach the board examinations.
