Compulsory Resident Medical Internship
We do not receive students from other institutes for internships and reserve all the internship positions for our own students under regulations of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The institute presently has a one time special permission from the National Medical Commission of India for managing the COVID pandemic to receive students from other institutions and Foreign Medical Graduates, for the academic year 2021-2022 only.

Senior House Officership / Senior Trainee

We receive Medical Graduates, with Medical Degrees recognized by the National Medical Commission of India and have a valid registration with the Tamil Nadu State Medical Council, for training as a Junior Resident/Senior House Officer / Senior Trainees in any speciality as the candidate may request for, subject to the avaialbility of positions in the concerned department. The Training in Department for a period of 3 months Rs.7500/- The Special postings in Departments for a cummulative period of 3 months for Diplomate of the National Board / DNB candidates Rs. 10,000/-.

Dental , Nursing and Allied Health Science Observorships

The Hospital and College provide facilities for short term training for students from the provate dental, nursing and paramedical institutes in the state. The institute permits a memoranum of understanding to avail clinical training for such Institutions based on a administrative permission granted by the Directorate of Medical Education. The fees structure is as follows (1) Students currently persuing a Diploma in Nursing Rs. 1,500/-per annum (2) Students currently pursuing a B.Sc.Degree course in Nursing Rs. 2,500/-per annum (3) Students who have completed their Bachelor in Dental Sciences and request a Trainee position Rs. 10,000/-per annum (4) Students who have completed a Para Medical diploma or degrees and request a trainee position Rs. 10,000/- per annum
